My first mission would be to find someone that spoke English at the hotel. My new girl friend had left me behind and promised to meet me later to show me around. It was very hard to completely understand what she was telling me,but with a little effort all was well. We said goodbye for now At the reseption desk i was greeted with "good afternoon, do you have a reservation?" I was relieved. I was shown my room as as i was saying before it was quite a disappointment considering the price.the room was very clean and everything worked just fine.
64 a night ? My dollar wasn't going as far as i thought. there are 3 restaurants near by and you could smell the food cooking from the hotel room. Yummy!! Hotel Gandara has a very nice restaurant ,however as i was saying about your dollar. Later I'll show you how you can fill up with great food for under 10 dollars a day.
This story is about my time living in Hermosillo Sonora, Mexico. I have been giving it quite a bit of thought whether or not i should tell my story. Living there went from a very good experience to utter disappointment. I did learn Spanish so that's a good thing.This story is not intended to insult anyone.I'm writing about true experiences. I've never visited any other region in Mexico. I came back to the USA every few months for 10 to 15 days and Did this from May 2007 until September 2009.
